Federal Bar Association sets 36th annual Indian law conference

The
Federal Bar Association kicks off its
36th annual Indian law conference tomorrow.
The conference is being hosted at the
Buffalo Thunder Resort, at Pojoaque Pueblo in New Mexico. This is the third time the event has been held on the reservation.
This year's theme is "Best Practices and Continuing Challenges in Federal Indian Law.”
Attendees will discuss taxation, the Tribal Law and Order Act, religious rights and water law, among other topics.
The conference concludes Friday.
